How to Choose the Right Paint
Step 1 — What machine do you have?
Robotic marker (Turf Tank, Tiny Robot, FJ Dynamics): You need Edge — the only Pitchmark paint formulated for robotic systems.
Pitchmark Eco spray marker: Use Ecoline+ with a misting nozzle for the finest lines, or Edge with a stainless nozzle.
Standard spray marker (Hybrid, Fusion, Eco Lite, Fleet, Zehnder etc.): Use any concentrate with a flat fan nozzle — Clubline, Lumen, Extreme or Elements 4:1.
Transfer wheel machine: Use any concentrate. Direct also works undiluted with transfer wheel markers.
Step 2 — What’s your budget?
- Best value entry: Elements 4:1 (€45) — €11.25 per pitch
- Best seller: Clubline White (€55) — brighter, more durable than Elements
- Lowest cost per pitch: Extreme White (€75) — just €12.50 per pitch across 6 pitches
Step 3 — How often do you mark?
- Once a week / training pitches: Elements 4:1 or Clubline White
- 2–3 times per week / match pitches: Lumen White or Extreme White
- County grounds / elite facilities: Extreme White or Ecoline+
Step 4 — What sport?
